Chain link fence, also known as rhombic fence, is one of the most popular choices of fence for both light residential to heavy commercial fence applications. Chain link fence is one of the most practical styles of fence, relatively easy to install, and very cost effective.
Chain link fence is most commonly available galvanized which is silver in color. We also carry colored chain link fence fabric, framework fence with posts and rail, colored fence fittings, gates all fencing applications from standard residential to light commercial, to heavy commercial and industrial fence applications. Colored fence fittings are either powder coated, or coated in a heavy vinyl coated (PVC) material in standard colors such as black, dark brown, and dark green. We also supply aluminum chain link fabric, aluminum tubing, and aluminum chain link fittings and gates for special applications.
Features
Chain-link fence is relatively low cost and easy for installation. Due to the open weave, chain-link fences are transparent, and do not obscure sunlight from either side of the fence.
Installation
The installation of chain-link fence involves setting posts into the ground and attaching the fence to them. The posts may comprise steel tubing, timber or concrete and may be driven into the ground or set in concrete. End posts, or terminal posts, must either be set in concrete or anchored to prevent leaning under the tension of a stretched fence. After the end posts are set, line posts are driven in equally spaced at intervals of 2.5-3.0m. The fence is then attached at one end, stretched, and attached at the other; the excess being easily removed by "unscrewing" a wire. Finally it is tied to the line posts with aluminum wire.
