The transformer oil regeneration system UVM-R-0.7 serves for regeneration of insulation oil to its virgin characteristics. The system also provides filtration, drying, discoloration and removal of particulate, sludge and other soluble oil decay products. Application of the system allows acid number of oil to be improved. It is used to regenerate insulating oils in transformers that are being installed or repaired. It is applicable for high-voltage power transformers, switches, i.e. high-voltage equipment.
How it works
The working principle of the system is as follows: there are two vessels, one is for oil and the other is for powder-like matter. As soon as oil and powder have been filled into the vessels, the oil treatment process takes place. This is one cycle of treatment. The vessel capacity for oil is 200 lt and for powder is 8 kg which makes up 4% out of amount of oil (200 lt). In other words average consumption of the powder is 4-6% out of amount of oil to be treated.
The powder-like matter is not restorable. However application exactly of this powder makes improving of acid number of oil possible more than twenty times better unlike Fuller???‚¬?„?s Earth. Nevertheless if you always use the Fuller???‚¬?„?s Earth it can be applied on the system UVM-R-0.7 too. It will not violate technological cycle and you will be able to recover fuller???‚¬?„?s earth the way it is recovered on other systems. Be advised that on using of Fuller???‚¬?„?s Earth the post treatment parameters
may differ from those claimed by us. After being treated with the powder, the oil goes to filters for further treatment namely to be cleared from mechanical solids. The settled powder is directed to the pressure filter for expressing the soaked oil out of it, it allows to avoid the unwanted oil loss. That???‚¬?„?s why the use of pressure filter is necessary. After processing the powder is disposed. The pressure filter comes with cost of the system.
