FOREIGN TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIP FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF BISCUITS/COOKIES/CONFECTIONERIES PRODUCTION PLANT IN NIGERIA

The Nigerian Government has recently placed importation ban on Biscuits, cookies, and all forms of confectionery products (sweets, candies, chocolate etc) into the Nigerian Market. Over 350million Metric Tons of such products are being consumed annually with over 95% coming from importation. This act of the Nigerian Government opens the opportunity for foreign producers with established brands to enter into partnership with Nigerian companies in the establishment of production plants in Nigeria to fill the vacuum that would be will be created by the unexpected ban.
OUR REQUIREMENT
We intend to enter into a technical partnership agreement with a foreign company in the food industry having established brands of biscuits, cookies and confectionery products, in setting up production plant in Nigeria for the production of their brand of products.
The foreign technical partners will:
1. Provide the technical detail, back up and support in the production of their various product brands.
2. Assist in sourcing relevant production Equipment and Machinery.
3. Assist in sourcing all required raw materials essential for production.
4. Allow the use of their brand names.
The Local partners shall be responsible for:
1. Sourcing funds for the establishment of the production plant and in ensuring the funding of working capital needs.
2. Obtaining local permits, clearances and expatriate quota necessary for the smooth running of the plant.
3. Providing day-to-day management of the plant.
